A vacancy has arisen for a Product Group Leader in the Assembly facility at Woodchester, responsible for the management of a department of up to 30 staff.


•To plan the materials and resources required within the department in order to meet the divisional sales demand and forecast
•To develop and lead improvement plans that will improve productivity and quality levels within the department in order to achieve divisional targets set
•To co ordinate the necessary activities to address all production and quality concerns relating to products and their processes within the department
•To ensure the smooth introduction of engineering change for products and processes, keeping the impact and cost for the business to a minimum
•    Demonstrate a high level of skill in coaching methods and encourage people by personal example

Key requirements:

•The minimum of an HNC or a degree (2:2 or above) in a relevant engineering discipline
•A working knowledge of electro mechanical production techniques used within the engineering industry
•Good working knowledge and exposure to materials management
•Experience of managing projects to specific timescales and deliverables
•A natural aptitude towards structured problem solving and decision making
•Working experience in managing people
•Highly developed communication and motivational skills
