An exciting opportunity has arisen within Group Software who are looking to recruit an applications specialist. Responsibilities will be the day to day support of the Software Development Environment of the department.
This will involve selection, installation, configuration, integration, upgrade, administration, monitoring and maintenance of the Group Software specialist software development tools. The successful candidate will also be expected to setup and maintain the department hardware systems as well as providing specialist PC support to Group Software staff and software development teams in Renishaw.
•Managing SQL Server
•Managing SharePoint Server
•Managing TFS Server
•Experience in deploying large scale I.T. systems
•Knowledge of Software Life Cycle
•Ability to organise own time
•Proficiency in evaluating, using and demonstrating full capabilities of certain software tools
•Training users and preparation of supporting documentation
•A minimum of six GCSE A-C passes (or equivalent), including Maths and English.
•A minimum of 3 A Level passes (or equivalent), including Maths or IT related.
•Further education (HND, BTECH or Degree) desirable
