Overview

We are seeking an outstanding Senior Human Resources Manager to be responsible for the development, implementation and compliance of HR policy and process within the Renishaw Group. Working as part of an experienced team to provide support to all divisions and overseas subsidiaries both on strategic and operational levels. The role will also encompass responsibility for delivery of Recruitment and Retention strategies across the Group.

Responsibilities

•Ensure Renishaw’s legal compliance on all employment issues
•Ensure the alignment of the HR service to Renishaw’s Business and HR strategy
•Together with the HR Team lead the development, implementation and maintenance of best practice HR Polices.
•Build effective relationships across the business to enhance the department’s reputation and to effectively deliver on the objectives of the role
•Develop and implement Key Performance Indicators and skills matrices based on best practice benchmarks within the department
•Recruit, develop and retain suitably qualified personnel to support and continuously improve the business
•Ensure implementation of succession planning across the Renishaw group
•Provide management information to optimise utilisation of resource
•Implementation of a strategic approach to workforce and resource planning
•Act as a key influencer in the implementation of continuous improvement and development of HR Processes and Systems in line with business need, relevant legislation and best practice
•Ensure Renishaw’s benefits package is competitive, relevant and rewarding
•Identify and implement employee engagement processes

 

Qualifications and skills


•Proven working experience as HR manager
•CIPD qualified
•International HR legislation would be an advantage
•People oriented and results driven
•Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics
•Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
•Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
•Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
•In-depth knowledge of Employment law and HR best practices

Person specification

As the successful candidate you will be driven, self-motivated and well organised. You will have a positive and confident attitude and possess great listening skills. You will also have the ability to work autonomously; a self-starter with the ability to define your own priorities and deliver projects as well as being able to influence others and have sound judgement.
