    Position Summary:   

    As a key member of the Sales team, the Regional Sales Manager, will assume a strategic role in the profitable sales growth of the Renishaw Additive product (http://www.renishaw.com/en/additive-manufacturing-systems--15239).  The Regional Sales Manager will be self-directed; gaining and expanding Renishaw’s territory in the West Coast.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Job Duties:

    • Extensive travel (50-70%) within the region to establish a market presence for the Renishaw AMPD product line.
    • Attend national/regional trade shows, open houses and conferences.
    • Present at industry tradeshows and conferences.
    • Use of CRM to manage sales opportunities and pipeline.
    • Completing site visit reports, key account activity and monthly expense reports.
    • Develop large key account relationships for multiple sale opportunities.
    • Lead key selling opportunities, negotiations, sales agreements to achieve regional sales targets according to plan.
    • Leverage the Renishaw Brand to gain access to prospective accounts thru the industrial metrology and calibration sales groups.
    • Perform customer presentations and demonstration of products with a strong understanding of the technical aspects of the AM product offering.
    • Understanding the principals of metrology relating to the AM process and secondary operations.
    • Interact with customer contacts at all levels, including management, technical and purchasing.
    • Effectively communicate customer requirements and new product needs to development group within AMPD.
    • Use of Microsoft Office products for creating reports, presentations and general communications.

     

    Minimum Job Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Minimum of 5 years of capital equipment sales thru direct, indirect and channel partners.
    • Experience with large complex organizations navigating thru the sales process and negotiating win/win outcomes.
    • Traditional metalworking manufacturing methods and process experience.
    • Active Passport

    Desirable Requirements:

    • Sales Training
    • Hands on experience with 3D solids software
    • Metallurgical experience
    • AM experience
    • Industrial metrology experience
    • Established network of manufacturing customers
    • Knowledge of and direct contact with major market verticals in the region
