    Position Summary:  Renishaw Inc’s Spectroscopy Products Division (SPD) is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Northeast United States.  This position involves selling SPD products, maintaining customer base, and developing new leads. 

    A world leader in engineering technologies, Renishaw supplies products for applications as diverse as metrology, Raman spectroscopy, motion control, machine tool automation, calibration, co-ordinate measurement, CAD/CAM dentistry, additive manufacturing/3D printing, stereotactic neurosurgery and molecular diagnostics.

    For analytical applications Renishaw’s Raman spectroscopy products identify and characterize the chemistry and structure of materials.  Some of the products include Raman microscope, SEM-Raman, SPM/AFM-Raman, and portable Raman analyzer.  For more information about the Spectroscopy Products Division (SPD) go to www.renishaw.com/raman

    Responsibilities

    Duties:

    • Develops and increases sales revenue to meet assigned targets.
    • Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for districts in support of national objectives.
    • Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors.
    • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks.
    • Meets regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
    • Assists with the planning of sales exhibits. 
    • Attend trade shows

    Minimum Job Qualifications:

    • 8+ years of regional sales experience in Raman spectroscopy equipment or IR spectrometers 
    • Capital Equipment Sales
    • Resident of Northeast United States

     

    Desirable Requirements:

    • Knowledge of how Renishaw Raman systems work
