  • Overview

    Following our success and desire to grow within the Machine Tool Products Division a vacancy has now arisen for a business Analyst to work within the Business Development team. This role is pivotal to the effective management of MPD business and supports the drive for customer satisfaction across the globe. 

     

    The role requires the individual to work closely with Subsidiaries, Machine Tool Division and Renishaw Manufacturing Services Division to drive excellence in areas of forecasting, delivery performance, quantity analysis, and other operational activities.

    Responsibilities

    •Compile the divisional product unit forecasts
    •Required to Compile weekly and monthly data reports
    •Compile and review Divisional stock policies
    •Liaise with Renishaw manufacturing services, Machine Tool Product Management and Subsidiaries and assist in the generation of a monthly product performance and delivery report and drive improvements to enhance our customer experience
    •Coordinate and champion any activities that the product performance report highlights as necessary
    •Hold regular stakeholder reviews

     

    Key requirements

    •You'd hold a higher education qualification for example; HNC, HND or degree in technical or commercial discipline or have equivalent years of work experience
    •Demonstrable experience with Microsoft Excel is essential
    •The person must have an eye for detail with excellent analytical and organisation skills
    •Knowledge of manufacturing principles is preferred
    •Must be a team player and encourage collaboration among peers

     

    This is a heavily analytical and commercial role but the technical nature of the products and applications means a sound engineering background would be beneficial

     

    Desirable requirements:

    •Experience working in a commercial engineering or manufacturing environment
    •Knowledge of manufacturing principles is preferred

    The successful applicant will have drive and self-motivation. They will also demonstrate excellent communication and relationship building skills, and be a team player.
