  • Overview

    Position Summary:  

    Renishaw is seeking a bookkeeper/project coordinator for our Auburn Hills, Michigan Office. The bookkeeper/project coordinator is primarily responsible for working closely with the finance team to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and tax payments


    Essential Job Duties:

    • Operates computers programmed with accounting software to record, store and analyze information.
    • Resolve past due account status
    • Checks figures, postings and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy and proper codes.
    • Classifies, records and summarizes numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals and ledgers or computers.
    • Compiles statistical, financial, accounting or auditing reports and tables
    • Review payroll data such as garnishments, vacation time, insurance and 401(k) deductions.
    • Maintains compliance with ITAR, Audits, A2LA Representative, and capture/create process documentation
    • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information
    • Help prepare budgets  
    • Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenditures
    • Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests

    Minimum Job Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans
    • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
    • Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
    • Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project
    • At least 2 years as a prior project coordinator


    Desirable Requirements:

    • Associates in Business Administration or related field
