  • Overview

    Renishaw is seeking to recruit an Electronics Design Engineer to join the CMM current products department.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Maintain existing products through their life cycle
    • Make design or process improvements to existing products
    • Work closely with other areas of the business, particularly production, and with other design disciplines including mechanical design and software

    Key requirements

    • An HND or equivalent qualification in electronics, physics or similar
    • Good problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills
    • Practical circuit prototyping skills
    • Good communication skills

    Desirable requirements

    • Familiarity with Zuken or Altium electronics CAD tools
    • Familiarity with the electronics production process

    Person specification

    The successful applicant will have experience of analogue and digital design and will bring a close attention to detail to their work. They will be enthusiastic and keen to learn any new skills which may be required. Clear thinking, good communication and team working are essential, as are fault finding and problem-solving skills.
