  • Overview

    Renishaw PLC, a world leader in dimensional metrology, is looking to recruit a software engineer to develop UI Controls for their Group Software Department (GS).

    GS is responsible for producing components used throughout the business by its divisional Software Engineers in the development of a wide range of applications. This role would involve creating, testing and maintaining UI Controls for a number of libraries spanning several coding languages and platforms.

     

    Responsibilities

    • To work as part of an agile team composed of both experienced and junior Software Engineers.
    • To contribute to team design discussions.
    • To produce robust, testable code using modern technologies and techniques.

    Key requirements

    • A degree with a grade of 2:1 or above in a numerate discipline, such as Physics, Mathematics, Software Engineering or Computer Science.
    • A good understanding of WPF, C# and the .Net Framework.
    • A keen eye for detail.

    Desirable requirements

    • Experience with Agile Development.
    • Experience with Test-Driven Development.
    • Prior experience developing either User Interfaces or User Interface controls.
