  • Overview

    Renishaw develops Additive Manufacturing (AM/3D Printing) systems for the production of metal components direct from CAD. An extended period of growth has created an opportunity for an additional Service Engineer to join our team based in Stone, Staffordshire.

     

    This key, front line role is to ensure a high standard of service and support is provided to every customer, enabling them to maximise the benefits expected from their investment in a Renishaw product.

     

    Key duties

    • Installation and commissioning of AM systems.
    • Providing of training for customer AM machine operators.
    • Service and support for the Renishaw AM product line. This will include maintenance of and upgrades to electro mechanical, software and optical assemblies.

    Key requirements

    • Strong engineering background, preferably with substantial experience in machinery service and maintenance.
    • Minimum of HND in technical discipline.
    • Full passport and driving license.

    Desirable requirements

    • Experience in testing/calibration of mechanical, electrical and optical systems.
    • Experience of onsite installation, commissioning, and training.
    • Experience of customer service and support.

    Person specification

     

    As the successful applicant you will be organised and have a methodical and systematic approach to problem solving. You will be commercially aware with the ability to remain confident in customer facing environments. Finally, you will be self‑motivated working alone or within a team environment.
