  • Overview

    Renishaw, one of the world’s leading engineering and scientific technology companies, with expertise in precision measurement and healthcare, is currently seeking to recruit a Graduate Tax Trainee. As the successful applicant, you will report to the Group Tax Manager and support the tax team across a broad range of taxes. 




    Provision of support to the tax team in the following areas:

    • Transfer pricing
    • Global mobility, including short term business visitor reporting
    • Overseas tax compliance monitoring, including implementation of technology solution
    • UK corporation tax compliance
    • Tax risk management
    • Other tax support as required

    Key requirements

    • Educated to degree level with 2.1 or above
    • This is a graduate trainee role and you will be required to undertake the Tax Pathway to achieve ATT and CTA qualification
    • Adept with Microsoft Office

    Desirable requirements

    • Able to demonstrate an interest in the area of taxation / finance
    • Flexibility and willingness to learn

    As the successful candidate you will be highly literate and numerate. You will be a team player, willing and open to take on tasks and challenges as required, with a questioning approach.  You will be reliable and well organised, able to manage deadlines and, whilst able to work on your own initiative, keep your line manager informed. You will be able to demonstrate ownership of responsibilities and a pro-active approach. Good written and verbal skills are a must, and you will be able to interpret and convey complex information in an understandable manner with ability to adapt to the audience.
