    Our business also requires software engineers to write coding and programmes to support the range of products throughout the business and this week is designed to give you experience of what you would be involved in as a software engineer with Renishaw.
    Students in years 10 – 13 who attend local schools across the region are encouraged to apply. We have 20 spaces for this week, so competition will be high.

    Dates:    Monday 6th July – Friday 10th July 2020

    Hours:   Monday – Thursday: 8.30am - 4.30pm

                   Friday:  8.30am  –  12.30pm 


    Parents/guardians invited from 12.00 – 12.30 to see the completed projects and meet the Renishaw staff.

    The format

    The Renishaw Software work experience week is not like traditional shadowing, our format offers students an experience that covers all aspects of working in Software.


    Students will develope in Python with Raspberry pi’s and will work as a team within a dedicated Agile process, Students will learn how a software team works in practice and get the opportunity to learn about the pathways to becoming a software engineer at Renishaw.

    We cater for all levels so if you are a complete novice or even the next Mark Zuckerberg then come and have a go!
